
Frank's Gourmet Grill
Frank's Gourmet Grill is local restaurant that wanted to upgrade their website so users could order online.
The Problem
Frank's Gourmet Grill needed a way for users to order online and pickup at the restaurant, so I decided to help them design a responsive website where users could do exactly that.
My Role
UX designer designing a responsive website for a restaurant from conception to delivery.
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on design, determining information architecture, and responsive designs

Research Summary
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the the needs of users I am designing for and what I can do to make the ordering process easier for them.

This user group will confirm my assumptions about Frank's Gourmet Grill customer, the research revealed that the order online option is a key feature.

Lessons Learned
While designing for Frank's Gourmet Grill, I learned that the first ideas for the site are only the beginning of the process. Usability studies and feedback from participants are essential to every part of the design process.
